A local family came across a very friendly cockatiel while at Goose Creek Village on Sunday, July 8. The bird flew right up and landed on the head on one family member just up the stairs from the Cone Zone. Are you missing a bird? If so, call Chad Hutchings at 703.303.1785.

To be clear ... not claiming this is my cockatiel. But I have had cockatiels at various times in my life and really like them. If the family who found him doesn't want to keep him, and the owner doesn't surface, be happy to take him ... just moved into the "suburbs" of Leesburg.
