New Art Gallery Offers Sneak Preview
"Arts in the Village” will hold an official grand opening this August and is located in the Village at Leesburg.
Leesburg-area residents and shoppers got a sneak preview of the soon-to-open “Arts in the Village” Gallery on Saturday. Located at the Village at Leesburg, about a block from the Cobb Village 12 Cinemas, the new art gallery will officially open in mid-August, according to Marketing Chair Kevin Bednarz.
A partnership between the Village at Leesburg and Loudoun Arts Council, the gallery will be a 2100-square-foot cooperative space showcasing the work of 20 Loudoun artists, including paintings, sculpture, photography, pottery, wood and other visual arts.
Bednarz said that the gallery would spotlight the works of a featured artist every month.
“This is a wonderful space,” Bednarz said. “There really isn’t anything else like it in the area, other than ArtSquare.”
The new gallery is located at 1601 Village Market Boulevard, S.E., #116, and will be open seven days a week. To learn more visit the Loudoun Arts Council online.
