An opening night reception Friday from 5-9 p.m. kicks off the gallery’s grand opening, featuring live acoustic music, an artist meet-and-greet, refreshments, and a gallery raffle and prizes.
The grand opening celebration Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. will also feature live music, opportunities to meet the artists and the chance to win a number of door prizes throughout the day. The grand opening weekend concludes Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., with artist demonstrations throughout the day.
Arts in the Village is a collaboration between the Loudoun Arts Council and the Village at Leesburg, creating a place for local artists to display and sell their work.
Leesburg-area residents and shoppers got a sneak preview of the new 2,100 square-foot gallery back in July. The cooperative space will showcase more than 20 of Loudoun’s most innovative visual artists, photographers and artisans.
Arts in the Village is located at 1601 Village Market Boulevard, Suite 116, in the Village at Leesburg town center development. Visit the Loudoun Arts Council’s website for more information.
