Eiffel Tower Cafe boasts charm and a fine French dining experience.

In historic downtown Leesburg, you will find a gem of a restaurant if you are in search of a local fine dining experience.  The Eiffel Tower Cafe has, for years, been a favorite for patrons from both near and far, a charming nook with an array of flavors to please the palate.

The restaurant opened in 1998 and offers lunch and dinner hours.  The food is authentic; the owner is from France and chose Leesburg as the restaurant's location due to its resemblance to Southern towns in her native country.

The portions here are generous, though, which may be a variation from the traditional French culinary style.  It is enough to appeal to the traditional American appetite.

The smoked salmon, Caesar salad and warm goat cheese en croute make savory appetizers.  For entrees you will find an array of fish, seafood, chicken and of course, steak au poivre.  The desserts, as would be expected, look as delicious as they taste.  The menus change seasonally, so there is always something new to experience.

The restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and for dinner Tuesday-Saturday from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Sunday brunch is also served a la carte style.

Reservations can be made via the website: www.eiffeltowercafe.com
