BurgerFi Serves Up Angus at the Village
Local dignitaries welcome the restaurant to the Village at Leesburg with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
After a busy few weeks following its Feb. 12 "soft opening," BurgerFi held a grand-opening ceremony at the Village at Leesburg Saturday with lots of burgers, beer and tasty treats for hungry new customers.
"The response has been amazing," said David Landry, who co-owns the restaurant with his son, Chris, and their partner, Tim Kelly.
Burger seekers had lined up at the door right by 11 a.m. Saturday. If you haven’t seen BurgerFi, it’s next to Finnegan’s Irish Pub at the Village.
Besides burgers, the menu offers all-natural hot dogs, fresh-cut fries and onion rings. For dessert, BurgerFi has old-fashioned frozen custard, shakes and frozen concrete – custard layered with cake, brownies or pie. The restaurant also has wine and beer, including Ashburn’s Lost Rhino on tap.

I have to admit I bypassed this place several times because the signs saying "natural"
burgers had me worried that I would be walking into a tofu fest.
Now I read angus and custard? Hmmm....might have to give this a try.
