‘Keep Leesburg Beautiful’ Campaign Begins April 1
The annual community cleanup kicks off a month of beautification exercises throughout the town.
The Town of Leesburg’s has set the ninth annual Keep Leesburg Beautiful community cleanup and beautification campaign to begin April 1 and continue through the entire month.
Residents, neighborhood and community groups, and businesses are encouraged to form teams and collect litter, mark storm drains, replant landscaped areas along the town’s rights of way or participate in other cleanup or beautification projects in April.
Groups and individuals interested in participating can learn more on the Town of Leesburg’s website.
The site provides information volunteering and suggestions for litter collection, stream cleanup and project locations. The town will provide safety vests, gloves and trash bags for participating groups or individuals.
If participants send Patch your photos, we'll put together a photo gallery and run it throughout the month. Send them to dusty@patch.com.

I wish some of the disgusting dog owners who live in Country Club would see this, and actually give a damn. Maybe it would encourage them to pick up after their dogs. And those that do pick up, not to leave that dirty bag on the sidewalk, for someone else to deal with. It wasn't like this a few years ago, I don't know what's moved in lately.
