Leesburg Man Sentenced to Three Years
Johnny Hyuk Ahn, 25, was sentenced on Thursday, April 26, after he molested a female student over ten years ago.
Leesburg resident Johnny Hyuk Ahn, 25, was sentenced to three years in prison and 10 years of supervised probation Thursday, according to an article on Loudoun Times-Mirror.
On Nov. 12, 2010, a female student had reported to her school counselor that she had been sexually molested by Ahn when she was much younger.
Following an investigation, Ahn confessed to a Leesburg Police detective that he had raped the girl and had her perform other sexual acts on him, according to the Times-Mirror. Ahn pleaded guilty on Jan. 17 to one count of aggravated sexual battery. He was 13 or 14 years old at the time the incidents took place.
On Thursday, Ahn was sentenced by Loudoun County Circuit Court Judge James H. Chamblin. The initial sentence was 10 years in prison, but seven were suspended.
