Leesburg Police Continue Homicide Investigation
It's been three years since the stabbing of Jammie Lane, a well-known Leesburg resident. The suspect has yet to be arrested and police are asking for your help.
The Leesburg Police are continuing to look for any information that will assist with the arrest of a suspect who was involved in a 2009 homicide, in Leesburg.
On Thursday, March 26, 2009, sometime during the afternoon, Jammie Lane was found murdered in his home located on Adams Drive NE. The victim had been stabbed multiple times.
Lane was a very well known figure in the Leesburg community and many who knew him as only a brief acquaintance would describe him as a genuinely nice and caring person who would stop and help anyone.
Although no motive has been established in this homicide, the police are continually looking for information that will assist with the arrest of a suspect and provide closure not only to the family but his close friends in the community.
