The case is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers were called just after 6 a.m. Saturday to Chicksaw Place NE for a suspicious incident. When they arrived, they found the man dead in an upstairs bedroom, according to a statement released by the department Saturday morning.
Police said they have taken the victim's 57-year-old wife into custody. She is being interviewed this morning, police said in the statement.
