Loudoun County's Fall Color Tour Arrives
The two day event will feature nearly 50 participants. The self-guided tour is free to attend.
Enjoy the smell and colors of fall this weekend during the annual Fall Color Tour in Loudoun County. The free, self-guided tour will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, which will allow participants to observe active farms while learning about what products are grown and available locally.
At least 29 farms, 15 wineries/breweries/distilleries, and five other venues will be open to the public. Among them is Leesburg's own Temple Hall Farm, Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, and Very Virginia. To view the full list of participants, click here.
Rural Marketing Program Manager Coco Lyons said it’s a great way to see what the county has to offer. The best part about it is the time of year, she said, when the leaves are changing throughout the area including the Blue Ridge, Short Hill and Sugarloaf mountains.
Brochures for the Fall Color Tour, including a map and directions to all participating farms will be available locally at Loudoun County libraries, community centers, and Visit Loudoun in Leesburg.
