Event organizers said that 3,000 people attended the 3rd annual Loudoun Grown Expo at Bush Tabernacle in Purcellville on Saturday, a number that well surpassed the attendance of last year's event.

"It is so nice to see so many neighbors and people who joined us from all over Northern Virginia," said Purcellville's Mayor Bob Lazaro.

The Expo is organized by the Town of Purcellville as a way to showcase rural farms, wineries and other local businesses that "makes Loudoun unique and what makes Purcellville a great place to live and work,” Lazaro said.
