My Child's Closet to Host Spring Consignment Sale
The annual event will take place this Saturday at the Douglass Community Center. Around 20,000 items will be available to purchase.
“We have several new vendors that are going to be with us this time around,” said Owner Kimberlee Sams, adding that a consignment sale is organized just like a store with separate racks and sections for different sizes and types of items.
“Everything is screened for quality so you won’t be looking through over used or dirty items to find what you are looking for,” she said.
Around 20,000 items will be available to purchase. This season’s biggest items will be Easter dresses, swimsuits, outdoor play equipment and bicycles.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 24 at the Douglass Community Center, 407 East Market Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. A half off sale will take place from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Any items that are left over from the upcoming sale will be donated to Door of Hope, in Ashburn. Visit www.mychildscloset.com for more information.
