Over 400,000 Without Power in Northern Virginia
Friday night's storm produced high winds between 40 to 80 miles per hour in some areas. Fallen trees and power lines were taken down causing thousands to be without electricity.
Thousands of people living in the Northern Virginia area are still without power following Friday night's severe thunderstorm. High winds caused a number of trees to fall onto power lines and into roads. Drivers are asked to drive carefully and use precaution.
