Photo Gallery: 22nd Annual Flower and Garden Festival
The event will continue this Sunday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Historic Downtown Leesburg kicked off it's 22nd Annual Flower and Garden Festival on Saturday, April 21. The historic downtown area was in full bloom as lush landscapes and gorgeous gardens filled the streets.
Around 160 vendors were on display and offered ideas for landscape designs, gardening supplies, outdoor living items, plants, flowers, and herbs.
Live entertainment, breweries and vineyards, and kid activities were also available. The event will continue on Sunday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What did you enjoy seeing? Did you get any ideas for your home? Let us know in the comments. Also, if you took photos during today's event feel free to upload them to the article or email leah.kosin@patch.com.

Leah:
The lush vegetation, landscaped gazebos and small tree gardens are impressive.
You didn't mention that many of the vendors are selling their vegetable plant packs and other garden goodies. Later today if it rains and business slows some vendors might be inclined to reduce their prices.
If it does rain, you can always duck into the Leesburg Downtown Saloon (Payne's Biker Bar) and watch the Caps take on the Boston Bruins in Game 6.
There are plenty of other good restaurants nearby to enjoy including Lightfoot, Shoe's Cup and Cork, Palios, China King (maybe closed today), The Wine Kitchen, Leesburg Restaurant, and the recently opened Blue Mountain Cafe with Jamaican cooking.
