Public Invited to View Site Plans for Morven Park

Two presentations will take place this week, which will allow Executive Director Frank Milligan the opportunity to discuss plans for the future of the historic site.

 

The public is reminded to visit this Tuesday and Wednesday where Executive Director Frank Milligan will go over details of the .

The master site plan, adopted towards the end of 2011, includes new trail systems for pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians and easier access through Morven Park including additional roads. A sports fields for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey and flag football is also planned to open.

Other highlights will include water features, a “Governors’ Walk”  through the gardens and to a new visitors center, a new Coach House Discovery Center for education, a revitalized Winmill Carriage Museum, the Turkey Hill educational farm and extensive enhancements to the equestrian center, among other things.
