Radio Disney Hosts Assembly at Frances Hazel Reid
Third graders had the opportunity to learn about three in a game show format during last Friday's event.

Third-graders at Frances Hazel Reid Elementary School enjoyed an interactive Tree Trivia Assembly on Friday, May 25. The event was hosted by Radio Disney, the media partner with Project Plant It!, a program developed by Dominion to teach children about the importance of trees in the environment.
More than 30,000 elementary students in nine states, including about 450 elementary students in Loudoun County, are participating. This was the second year that Loudoun County students have enrolled.
During the assembly Ranger Spruce Sassafras led the Leesburg students in a rousing game-show style competition where teams tested their knowledge of tree trivia. To learn more about the program visit Project Plant It! online.
