Readers' Choice: Best Park

Playgrounds? Trails? Ballfields? Hockey? Skateboarding? What do you like to do at parks in Loudoun and where do you go to do it?

Update: You nominated the best park in Loudoun County, and now the voting round of Patch's Readers' Choice 2012 begins.

Cast a vote to help crown a winner. Voting continues through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 17. Only one vote per user — tell your friends and family to log on to pick their favorite, too!

Original: There are loads of parks in the Loudoun County and what makes a park your favorite may depend entirely on what you like to do outside.

You may be looking for the biggest and best playground to exhaust your toddler on so he takes a nap. You may want big, flat, grassy soccer fields or a spot to play catch. Hiking trails? Biking trails? You can find many county and regional parks in Ashburn and Leesburg, but your favorite may be elsewhere in Loudoun.

Let us know which Loudoun park you think should get the title of Patch’s Readers’ Choice Best Park in the comments section below.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Check out the other Readers’ Choice categories in Ashburn Patch and Leesburg Patch, too.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

And don’t forget to sign up for the Ashburn Patch Newsletter or the Leesburg Patch Newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite business and see who wins.

Morven Park, everything from equestrian events to Civil War reenactments, strolling around the mansion grounds and gardens to invigorating hikes on the many wooded trails.

Banshee Reeks Park is quite lovely - perhaps a place many folks haven't explored yet... Check the hours before you visit (only on weekends) but worth checking out!
