A crowd of 24,650 attended the Washington Redskins’ annual Fan Appreciation Day at Redskins Park Saturday, taking advantage of an opportunity to rub elbows with and obtain autographs from the teams’ players.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) and Loudoun County Chairman Scott York (R-At Large), each of whom received a personalized jersey in recognition of the team’s decision to keep its headquarters in Loudoun County. 

The next training camp practice open to the public begins about 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, with parking lots open at noon and gates open at 1 p.m. Visit the team’s website for more information about summer training camp, presented by RE/MAX.
