This historical park surrounds Ball's Bluff National Cemetery and was the site of the first Civil War battle that took place in Loudoun County.

The park features interpretive signs with detailed information on the historical significance of the battle, commanders and troop movements.

In addition to walking trails for outdoorsy and fitness-minded folks, there is plenty for the history buff at Ball's Bluff. There is a small cemetery in the heart of the park, in which soldiers who fought and died in the battle are buried.

The park features a three-quarter-mile trail and two-mile circuit hikes, interpretive history signs and picnic tables.
