EDY’s fundraising day for the fight against pediatric cancer is Sat, 4/28 at Giant Food. Stop in to your local Giant Food on Sat; give $1 and get a free single-serve ice cream cup. Give $3, and you also receive a limited edition Triple Winner keepsake.
Giant Food will donate 100% of the proceeds raised during this event to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and The Children’s Cancer Foundation for children’s cancer research and treatment.
In addition, Nestlé EDY’S Ice Cream Company will donate $.05 for every single serve cup, shake or smoothie sold between April 13 and June 7, 2012 with no limitation on the amount donated during this timeframe.

More About Giant Foods Inc
The original Leesburg Giant Foods was established February 28, 1989, and renovated on October 16, 2009. It is a clean, bright, inviting store. Better than that, the staff is great. It offers the best pharmacy in Leesburg, says Store Manager, Johnnie Johnson, and features free antibiotics.
After renovation, Giant Foods has a larger organic foods department and offers gluten-free foods. Customers also can send money via Western Union.
The store is located in the shopping center at the intersection of Market Street and Catoctin Circle.
