As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will host “How Does Your Weight Affect Your Health” on Wednesday, January 23 at 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Excess weight can affect every system of the body and is associated with significantly elevated risk for dozens of diseases and conditions—many of which may surprise you. Attendees will gain medical insight into maintaining a healthy weight, risk factors for obesity and today’s effective medical weight loss solutions.
Join Dr. Kajal Zalavadia, a fellowship trained internist who specializes in bariatric medicine (a bariatrician) at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, as she discusses how weight is more than a number on the scale.
