 t described as an onstage Film Noir. When would-be poet and part-time li
 brarian Sara McKeon learns that her boyfriend\, David\, has been vicious
 ly murdered\, she has no idea things can get even worse. Evidence sugges
 ts that David may have been involved in kidnapping\, rape and murder. Un
 able to reconcile these accusations with her memories\, and fuming that 
 the police don&rsquo\;t seem engaged\, Sara begins her own investigation
  deep into Chicago&rsquo\;s urban underworld.At just about100 minutes wi
 th no intermission\, the story moves backward and forward in time in ove
 rlapping scenes\, from Sara and David's first meeting to the climatic co
 nclusion\, as she finds herself facing her lover's killer. &nbsp\;The ca
