Join The Marshall Center, the Town of Leesburg, and Loudoun County to commemorate Veterans Day on the grounds of General George C. Marshall's home, Dodona Manor. Keynote Speaker: Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick (USA Ret).
Under tent, rain or shine. The first floor of the Manor will be open for free tours through 5 p.m. (last tour begins at 4:30 p.m.), following the event.
Admission is free. No RSVP is necessary.
Parking is available at the Shops at Dodona Manor located at 310-312 E. Market Street and Loudoun County Government Building parking garage located on Loudoun Street, between Harrison & Church streets, or metered Leesburg parking spaces. No public access from Edwards Ferry Road. Only handicapped parking is permitted on the grounds at 217 Edwards Ferry Road. Thank you.

George C Marshall International Center at Dodona Manor
Dodona Manor was built in the 1820s and although it is a part of Leesburg's Historic District, it was designated a National Historic Landmark because General George C. Marshall lived there from 1941-1959. The interior of the house contains almost 95 percent of the original furnishings, which makes this landmark an accurate and timeless museum. The garden, surrounding the house, is currently being restored.
The George C. Marshall International Center hosts many events, lectures and workshops for the public and rotates their exhibits. The exhibits are available for viewing during public tours or by appointment. It also prints a quarterly newsletter to keep members and the public informed of these happenings.
