Sloan Wainwright Concert on Stage at the Old Stone School Friday, June 6!

Hillsboro, VA—On Friday, June 6, Sloan Wainwright will perform on stage at the Old Stone School in the historic Town of Hillsboro, Virginia. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. performance. Tickets are $25 ($15 for students with current school identification) and will be sold at the door (cash or check). Proceeds benefit the Old Stone School located at 37098 Charles Town Pike in Hillsboro, Virginia. North Gate Vineyard will sell wine by the glass and goodies prepared by It’s a Peace of Cake will be available to purchase during the event. 

About Sloan Wainwright

Sloan Wainwright, who has released 7 original CDs, combines a variety of American musical styles including pop, folk, jazz, and blues. Her musical family includes brother and folk-music luminary Loudon Wainwright, nephew Rufus Wainwright, nieces Martha Wainwright and Lucy Wainwright Roche. She continues to write, sing, and perform live. She has written musical compositions for theater and dance, and continues to teach at many master songwriter series and workshops.

This performance is co-sponsored by the two stewards of the historic building: the non-profit Hillsboro Community Association & Friends of the Old Stone School which manages the Old Stone School, and the Town of Hillsboro which owns the historic building.
