Eastern Panhandle Leads Economic Growth in W.Va

More good news from West Virginia! According to the recent Eastern Panhandle Economic Outlook, which is conducted annually, the local economies for Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan Counties are improving at extremely promising rates. John Deskins, director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research in West Virginia University’s College of Business and Economics, presented the findings, which included current conditions and forecasts through 2018. There’s no doubt that both Arcadia Chase and Springs residents will benefit from this good news!

Deskins noted that “The Eastern Panhandle is driving economic growth in West Virginia” and that they can “expect that strong growth to continue.” This portion of the state has added thousands of jobs since 2010 – regaining all that were lost during the recession.

Better yet, the entire home building industry in the Eastern Panhandle is one of the strongest in West Virginia and homebuilders remain optimistic for the future. Both home prices and home construction are up, with more people than ever choosing this area as their next home. Because of its popularity, impressive population increases are also expected.

Two Arcadia communities, Chase and Springs, are located in this part of West Virginia. These communities, in Charles Town and Martinsburg respectively, allow homeowners to continue working in the DMV region without paying the higher home prices of living there. Residents can also benefit from living in this affordable area without missing out on an exceptional, well-built home.

That’s because all Arcadia homes are constructed with the highest standard available in the home building industry. Our homes provide homeowners with a beautiful house that includes features and finishes typically not offered in other communities. Between the high ceilings, new carpet, granite countertops and so much more, Arcadia homes are truly some of the best in this market.
