Bridge to Freedom Foundation to Host Taste of Freedom Benefit in Hamilton

Singer/songwriter Jason Frye is slated to perform at this benefit concert and wine tasting.

Tickets are still available for the Bridge To Freedom Foundation's wine tasting and concert at Hunter's Run Wine Barn in Hamilton Thursday night.

The event will feature a tasting of Virginia wines and appetizers. Local singer/songwriter Jason Frye will perform alternative rock songs. Guests will learn about human trafficking in your state and county and hear a survivor's testimony.

A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Bridge to Freedom Foundation. Based in Merrifield, the Bridge to Freedom Foundation was founded in 2008 to bridge gaps in information and services that hinder the growth of survivors of modern slavery through research, program development and evaluations, services, and linking the for-profit, academic, and public worlds to the anti-slavery movement, according to its website.

Tickets are $30 per person or two for $50 and may be purchased at http://tasteoffreedom.eventbrite.com/. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. Thursday. Hunter's Run Wine Barn is located at 40325 Charlestown Pike, Hamilton.
