Mosby’s St. Patrick’s Day Herndon Station Raid 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. reenactments, living history portrayals one hour prior to each reenactment.  The streets of historic downtown Herndon will be filled with the sound of hooves as legendary Colonel John Singleton Mosby and his Rangers ride into town to recreate the surprise attack on the First Vermont Cavalry stationed at the Herndon Depot. www.HerndonHistoricalSociety.org.

Of course, Leesburg has its own St. Patty's celebrations at its Irish Pubs: Spanky's Shenanigans on East Market and Finnegan's at the Village at Leesburg.
