Golf Legend Jack Nicklaus Moving to Creighton Farms and One of His Own Golf Courses

The famed golfer is building a home in the luxury community near President James Monroe's Oak Hill south of Leesburg.

Ground has broken on a new home for legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus in Creighton Farms, south of Leesburg, according to WTOP. The luxury residential community boasts a Nicklaus Design golf course and celebrity sports resident Robert Griffin III.

One 5,672-square-foot home now for sale now in Creighton Farms – located across Route 15 from Oak Hill, a home of past U.S. President James Monroe – is listed for $2.199 million, according to Zillow.

Nicklaus’ plans were first reported in 2010 by the Washington Business Journal.
