Patch Picks

This week in Patch Picks, why not get a little theatrical?

Leesburg and Loudoun County has a great deal of local theater and other live entertainment. Whether it's a school play or a comedy show, we have a few suggestions for getting out and enjoying some non-televised entertainment.

They may not be high schoolers yet, but that's not stopping Belmont Ridge Middle School students from tackling the Disney Channel orginal film. There will be 5 performances over the next two weeks, starting on March 31 at 7pm. Come down and see if the next Zac Efron is being born.

"When Dr. Faust becomes bored with life, he makes a deal with the devil and trades his eternal soul for knowledge, magical powers and the love a beautiful young girl." I can't see any possible way this could go wrong. See for yourself on April 1 &2 at 8 PM at the Franklin Park Arts Center in Purcellville.

Tallly Ho's resident improv comedy troupe is performing their monthly family-friendly show as part of Leesburg's First Friday. Bring your kids and let them laugh at someone besides you for a change.

You don't have to actually be in a theater to enjoy a performance. From 12-5 PM on Sunday, April 3, you and your family can see how Civil War soldiers really lived. Watch as reenactors teach you about history as they camp and perform drilling and firing demonstrations.
