After last week's sweltering humidity, folks all over town have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and eating outside. Whether you're heading out for a quick bite to eat on your lunch hour, stopping by for after-work drinks, or having a leisurely dinner, Leesburg is full of restaurants with great outdoor dining options.

Lightfoot Restaurant

With its wrought-iron tables and festive red umbrellas, the patio behind has become a top fair-weather culinary destination. Enjoy a quiet lunch or live music that they often have on the weekends.

Shoes Secret Garden

They call this "secret" for a reason. If you didn't know about it, there's no way you would ever find the outside eating area behind . You can only reach it through the narrow alley beside the building, but once you get back there, the spacious patio and blooming flowers makes the trip worth it.

La Travinia

On the other side of town, in The Village shopping center is a great option if you want to enjoy pasta and a martini while you're soaking in the night air. Their outdoor seating area is relaxing and spacious, so you can enjoy a peaceful night out.

If you've driven by on Catoctin Circle after work on a nice day, then you've definitely seen the diners and revelers on their comfy, cushioned patio. There are traditional tables if you're there for dinner, but the happy hour menu is also good outside, where you can enjoy discount food and drinks while lounging in their comfy, cushioned patio furniture.

Market Station is a cornucopia of outdoor seating. Just about every restaurant there has a deck area where you can enjoy your meal, so if you don't know what you want but you know you want to eat outside, just head on down to Market Station and make the decision once you get there.
