While Loudoun County is becoming known for its wineries, there are several right here in Leesburg for you to enjoy.
When I go out to visit Loudoun Wineries, I often find myself out in places like Purcellville and Hillsboro. While there are delightful wineries there, you really don't even need to leave Leesburg to find a great place to sip some vino.
With seven wines to choose from and a beautiful piece of land on which it sits, Casanel is always inviting. If you're in the mood to eat, be sure to check out their RSVP-only brunch this weekend.
The tasting room is in a home built in the 1800s and sits on a family farm. Come by on the weekends and enjoy their signature cabernet franc and take a tour of the vineyard.

Just a few years ago, Dry Mill's tasting room housed horses. Now, it's the home of one of Loudoun's newest wineries. One of the few wineries to stay open late, you can stop by after work on Fridays, when they stay open until 8:00.

Founded in 1989, Tarara is probably Leesburg's most famous winery. Its large open spaces and picnic shelters make it great for get-togethers, and they often host events. Join them this Saturday for their Toast to the Tunes Summer Concert Series.
Not only does Fabbioli's grow grapes on their seven acres of vineyards, but berries and pears as well. A small, family-owned winery, Fabbioli's is participating in Farm-to-Fork Loudoun, which kicks off this week.
