Who says that a "Staycation" has to be in your own house?

Need to relax, but can’t travel too far from home? Leesburg Patch has you covered. Getting out of the house and spending time at a local bed and breakfast can be a great way to get away for a while and relax, without venturing too far from home.

I stayed in a lot of hotels when I was little. Mostly it was because my father had to travel a lot for work and he brought the family with him. Sometimes though, we would just go stay in a nearby hotel. It was kind of a "staycation," but we actually got out of the house. For a kid like me, it felt just like a real vacation: we weren't at home, and there was a pool. Instant heaven.

To this day, I'm still a fan of this idea, and have been known to check in to a Leesburg hotel or two in my time to just get away for a little while. So if you want a change of scenery, or you can get the grandparents to watch the kids for the night like I did, here are five Leesburg-area Bed & Breakfasts for when you want to kick back and relax without venturing too far from home.
