Sample a Taste of Greece in Ashburn this Weekend

The annual event provides a cultural immersion, and great Greek food.

The 5th annual Taste of Greece is set for this weekend at the Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department's station, 20688 Ashburn Road, in Old Ashburn.

Free admission and free parking make it easy to drop by Friday through Sunday to see what’s going on, but be prepared for a crowd. Every year, the Greek Orthodox Parish of Loudoun County fills Founder’s Hall at the first station with food, music and lots of dancing.

And while the junior and senior dance troupes will each perform multiple times throughout the weekend, there are four opportunities to learn to a Greek dance (see attached dance schedule). The accompanying video was made during the January 2011 Taste of Greece.
