'Acoustic on the Green' Performers Announced

The lineup for Leesburg’s 10th Annual Acoustic on the Green concert series starting June 8 have been announced.

“We have everything from local favorites to acts that have signed national recording artists,” said Jeremy Payne, recreation and events for Leesburg's Parks and Recreation Department.

Acoustic on the Green is a free concert series that take place at the Town Green. The event is hosted by both the town government and area businesses and typically draws between 200-500 people, Payne said.

“It’s a great chance to come out and enjoy music free of charge,” Payne said.

The performers are:

• June 22 Luke Brindley
• June 29 Michael Sheppard
• July 13 Prescott Engle
• July 20 Cal Everett
• July 27 Naked Blue
• August 3 Don Chapman
• August 10 Gary Smallwood
• August 17 Todd Wright
• August 24 Jennifer Daniels

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and food to the event, but alcohol is prohibited. Concerts are at 7 p.m. each Saturday at 25 W. Market St. Free parking is available across the street.
