3rd Annual Loudoun Blluegrass Festival

Presented by the Rotary Club of Dulles International Airport as a fundraiser for scholarships. This Loudoun Bluegrass Festival is more than a concert - it’s a chance for bluegrass lovers to jam, compete, and attend workshops with some of the nation’s top pickers. Local musicians of all ages competed last year for prizes and played for a live audience - some for the first time! For 2012, nationally-known act The Lonesome River Band will headline the main stage. The Loudoun County Fairgrounds, just west of historic Leesburg, is the perfect venue for this crowd-pleasing event featuring ample parking and a large indoor barn with plenty of seating. In addition to great music all day long, festival attendees will enjoy great barbecue, wine, beer. Lots of kid's activities too.
