LIVE from The Pink Shop - Singer, Alie Campbell

As part of their Sunday spotlight entertainment series, The Pink Shop is hosting live music in their courtyard on June 26th, with singer/guitarist, ALIE CAMPBELL.  Alie, who will be a 9th grader at Loudoun Valley High School this fall, will play a variety of music from classic and contemporary rock to pop and folk songs, covering such artist as Taylor Swift, Adele and the Beatles.  She recently sang the National Anthem at the Purcellville Heritage Day event and was also in the cast of "Once Upon a Christmas Carol" by Run Rabbit Run Productions at the Old Stone School Theatre in Hillsboro.  She has also appeared as Gabriella Montez in "High School Musical" at Seneca Ridge Middle School and in the Lopez Studios production of "Seussical, Jr."  Her vocal performances have included Jammin' Java in Vienna VA, and Miracle Valley Vineyard and Dry Mill Winery in Loudoun County.  Stop by The Pink Shop to enjoy an outdoor concert on Sunday starting at 2pm, and to hear Alie, as she is a raising star on the local talent scene.

The Sunday Spotlight Series called “LIVE from THE PINK SHOP” hosts weekly live performances on Sunday afternoons, such as stand-up comedians, theater groups, book signings, living history events and outdoor concerts, featuring local musicians and bands from a wide range of musical genres  (bluegrass, rock, classical, jazz, etc).

Sundays are a great time to visit the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Leesburg and this series allows you a chance to stop by and sit for a spell, under the trees, while listening to an outdoor concert or other special event.  Plus it gives local musicians, a new place to perform, especially young bands and musicians, that do not have as many venues and opportunities to play for the public.
