Live from The Pink Shop - Singer/Guitarist, Annie Stokes

As part of their Sunday spotlight entertainment series, The Pink Shop is hosting live music in their courtyard on May 29nd, with singer/guitarist, ANNIE STOKES.   She will play a variety of music from contemporary rock to pop and folk songs, as well as some of her own original tunes.  Annie graduated from Lynchburg College this month and from Heritage High School in 2007.  Stop by The Pink Shop to enjoy an outdoor concert on Sunday starting at 2pm, to help celebrate this local talent’s return to her hometown.

The Sunday Spotlight Series called “LIVE from THE PINK SHOP” hosts weekly live performances on Sunday afternoons, such as stand-up comedians, theater groups, book signings, living history events and outdoor concerts, featuring local musicians and bands from a wide range of musical genres  (bluegrass, rock, classical, jazz, etc).

Sundays are a great time to visit the shops and restaurants of historic downtown Leesburg and this series allows you a chance to stop by and sit for a spell, under the trees, while listening to an outdoor concert or other special event.  Plus it gives local musicians, a new place to perform, especially young bands and musicians, that do not have as many venues and opportunities to play for the public.
