Leesburg Fine Art Festival Set for Sept. 14-15

For a second year, the Friends of Leesburg Public Arts have planned the free showcase.

The Friends of Leesburg Public Arts have set the second annual Leesburg Fine Art Festival for Sept. 14-15 in downtown Leesburg, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the group.

Paragon Art Events coordinates the art festival, which showcases nationally and internationally acclaimed arts from across the country and overseas. Those who attend can meet the artists and learn about the creation of specific works.

The festival features painting, jewelry, sculpture, photography, woodworking, ceramics, glass, fiber art, mixed media and more.

Admission is free. The events will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.

The Friends of Leesburg Public Arts provides funding and support for public art and arts-related programs within the town. The group also is currently raising funds for a mural on the Loudoun Street side of the Town Hall Parking Garage.
