Stilson Greene Celebrates New CD

A listening party was held at Spanky's Shenanigans Thursday night while raising funds for charity.

Over 200 people turned out Thursday night at Spanky’s Shenanigans in Leesburg to hear Stilson Greene’s new CD, "Young Lions", and to raise money for charity.

Greene is well-known in Leesburg for his prominence in the music and arts scene and for organizing two popular events, the Acoustic on the Green summer concert series and Jingle Jam.

Among the attendees at the successful event were prominent musicians Cal Everett, Gary Smallwood, Grammy winner Jon Carroll, award-winning singer and song writer Todd Wright and Hall of Fame radio personality Cerphe.

Proceeds from the sales of "Young Lions" will benefit several charities including the ALS Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Association, National MS Society and the American Cancer Association.

Each of these charities was picked because Greene’s family or friends have been touched by one of these diseases and he wanted to give back through donations to these groups.
