This Weekend: Leesburg's Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Show
Ida Lee hosts 22nd annual event, a holiday tradition for many residents.
Holiday shoppers can find unique gifts all under one roof this weekend at Leesburg’s Annual Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts Show.
Many of the vendors return from year to year and are local artists. The show draws people from as far away as West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina.
The showcased art is varied and includes pottery, textile and clothing items, photography, seasonal gifts and decorations, jewelry, pet items, carved wood, candles, and much more.

In past years, people have enjoyed such vendors as The Parsonage, of Lovettsville, which sells soaps; Gypsy Hill, of Vienna, which sells dips; and Chile Man, of Purcellville. Each of those artisans will be back again this year.
“Always popular are the door prizes which are given every hour with gifts that the vendors have donated,” said Linda Fountain, event coordinator and Youth Services Manager at Ida Lee Park.

The Leesburg Kiwanis Club will be serving lunch all day, with sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s. Meadows Frozen Custard will also be selling custard and other frozen treats.
Fountain said that the event usually draws about 2,500-3,500 people each year. This year there will be just over 100 vendors, spread out over two levels at Ida Lee.
The Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts Show is open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Dr, Leesburg. Admission is free.
