Cleaner4Less Holds Ribbon Cutting in Leesburg

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Cleaner4Less, on Saturday, where Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd officiated the event. Business owners Justine and Kurt van Engen said they were flattered that both the Mayor and other town officials had attended. Cleaner4Less officially opened to the public on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

"We really like being involved in Leesburg," Justine van Engen said on Thursday. "For retail reasons it had to do with demographics but also because it’s a great small town. A lot of people enjoy patronizing local businesses and we in fact hire a couple of Tuscora High students part time and we also do a cooperative thing with some students from Heritage High."

According to Justine van Engen, Cleaner4Less is a dry cleaner, which offers affordable services at $1.99 per garment. "If you are paying more than that you are overpaying," she said.

All of the cleaning services are performed on-site, she said, while using environmentally friendly solutions. Cleaner4Less also provides both high quality and speedy service including same day pick-up for orders dropped off by 9 a.m.

“We are locally owned and operated and can save you money while taking care of your clothes,” Justine van Engen said.  “We use products which are gentle to the earth and have experienced staff who are familiar with stain removal as well as the best practices for keeping your fabrics looking good.“

During the ribbon cutting, Economic Development Manager Marantha Edwards said that families are more and more conscious of how they spend their money these days, while wanting to get the greatest value for every dollar.

“Cleaner4Less’ quality services, along with their use of environmentally friendly products, make them a welcome addition to our community,” Edwards said.
