“The growth of our chamber mirrors the heightened level of activity in the Dulles Region, which a few years ago ranked second in the nation for business growth,” Dulles Regional Chamber president Eileen Curtis said in a statement.

The Dulles Regional Chamber is the only chamber serving both Loudoun and Fairfax Counties and has worked to better define the Dulles Region, initiating projects and ideas that help business and individuals better understand their community.

In 2009, the chamber hired Dr. Stephen Fuller, Director of Mason’s Center for Regional Analysis, to research demographics particular to its footprint.

Among its findings, the study showed 45 percent of the total office space in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties is located in the Dulles Region, according to the chamber. Additionally, the Chamber study noted education levels in the Dulles Region are higher than the aggregates of either county and also revealed the region is the largest tax contributor in the Commonwealth.

“The Dulles Region is truly an exceptional area within Northern Virginia and we feel privileged to provide our member business services to such an energized and world-class marketplace," Curtis said. “As this dynamic region continues to grow, so will we.”
