Eggspectation Hatches Support for Loudoun Cares

The new restaurant in the Village at Leesburg will host a party to support the local charity on Sunday

A new business is hatching a plan to help out a local charity.

Eggspectation, a restaurant, café and bar opening in the Village at Leesburg is hosting a party for Loudoun Cares on Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m.

Mike Wilson, the owner of Eggspectation, said it’s customary for new locations to connect with a local charity, and donate food and space in support of the chosen organization.

Wilson said he met with Debi Parry, Leesburg’s business retention coordinator, and she directed him to Loudoun Cares as a possibility.

Tickets will be available for the party through Loudoun Cares at $25 a pop, and guests will be treated to a sampling of the restaurant’s menu, Wilson said.
