Leesburg’s Doggy Do Right On The Move, But Not Leaving Area

The business plans an anniversary party as the owners decide to go mobile.

Doggy Do Right has become a familiar landmark in downtown Leesburg, operating for a decade out stone house along East Market Street behind the Liberty gas station, but that soon will end.

While the dog-training business will continue to operate, taking classes on the road, owner Nancy Dryden said she does not plan to renew her lease in Leesburg.

“I am not closing the business, but I am not renewing my lease at the facility,” she told Leesburg Today.

On Sept. 22, Dryden has planned an anniversary party, which will also serve as a fundraiser for the paws4people organization. The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Foxridge Park Pavilion, 525 Catoctin Circle, in Leesburg. Dryden has invited families and friendly dogs to join in.
