Local McDonald's Celebrates Recent Renovations

A ribbon cutting was held early Saturday evening to welcome the new design, which is taking place nationwide.

The one and only Ronald McDonald stopped by the on Saturday afternoon where a ribbon cutting was held to celebrate the recent renovations inside and out.

Marketing Supervisor Uvetta Hatton said the “fresh design” is being revealed across the country. It’s just one way to let fans know that the restaurant chain is keeping up with the times.

“What we’re trying to do is let the Town of Leesburg know just how wonderfully happy we are to be back in the market, to be able to open a store that’s more hip, more up-to-date, free Wi-Fi, wholesome choice food,” Hatton said.

“If you walked in and we hadn’t kept up with the times and the way that we look what would you think of our product and the food that we serve," Hatton continued. "We are definitely not going to do anything that is going to make people say, ’No I don’t want to come there.’ So as long as we look good, the food tastes good and the service is real good, we know that you’re happy with us and that makes us happy. “

General Manager Aleyda Archila said she’s received nothing but positive comments regarding the latest renovation. It’s very exciting to see all of the support, she said, which makes her feel “very happy”.
