LoCo Beans Opens In Leesburg

LoCo Beans opened Saturday morning with a ribbon cutting, making it Leesburg's newest coffee shop.

Established in 2011 by Chau Pham and Paul Modolo, LoCo Beans is located at 114 South Street SE, and brings the flavor and aroma of fresh roasted coffee to the historic downtown area.

Operating out of the little red silo at the north end of Market Station, LoCo Beans’ fresh roasted coffee is available for sale onsite, at a growing number of stores and coffee shops throughout Loudoun County, as well as online. 

Leesburg Economic Development Manager Marantha Edwards said the town's residents and visitors have come to anticipate a unique downtown experience and a stop at LoCo Beans will be a welcome addition to the variety of options.

“We are excited to welcome LoCo Beans coffee and their innovative roasting methods to our Historic Downtown," Edwards said.

“At LoCo Beans, we begin by selecting the finest quality ‘green’ beans from around the world, then through a process of experimentation and lots of ‘cupping’ sessions we create a roasting profile tailored to bring out all the complexities of that unique coffee’s flavor and aroma. ... Precision roasting against this profile then yields consistent, high-quality results," Pham said. "Paul and I both have engineering backgrounds, so precision roasting to achieve repeatable results is where we shine. We’re consistently cranking out the best coffee in Loudoun County." 

The grand opening event included roasting demonstrations and meet-and-greet opportunities.
