CraftyStitches Opens Store at Village at Leesburg

After three years online, the Loudoun-based business makes its next move.

This past weekend, the Town of Leesburg welcomed CraftyStitches to the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The retailer opened in the Village at Leesburg.

The store marks the next step for CraftyStitches, which for the past three years has operated as an online business.

Loudoun County resident Jennifer Michaels owns and operates the business and said she set out to follow her passion for traditional crafts and organic fabrics. Michaels made the switch to the business after spending years in the corporate world.

With the new shop, Michaels can offer her newest initiative, Sew Genius™, a series of sewing camps, classes and workshops incorporating S.T.E.M.
