Ribbon Cutting to Welcome New Yoga Studio
Leesburg officials will officially welcome Happy SouL Yoga to Leesburg Friday afternoon, where a free one hour class will follow.
A ribbon cutting is scheduled to take place at Happy SouL Yoga on Friday, Jan. 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Leesburg Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd will officiate.
Happy SouL Yoga was created by two mothers and natives of Northern Virginia who have been certified yoga instructors for over seven years.

It is the area’s first studio that caters to all ages offering “Mommy and ME” classes, afterschool yoga and “Fabulous Yoga” classes for those who prefer a gentle style of yoga.
"I am grateful and excited to now have a Leesburg location,” said Co-owner Mindy Piland, who has taught in her Purcellville studio for at least eight years. “In addition, yoga is a fantastic way to get in shape and is a lot of fun.”

“I am proud to be opening a business in my hometown of Leesburg and thrilled to be able to add something new, positive and wonderful for all residents of our continually growing area," said Co-owner Collen McGovern Gustavson. "Yoga has helped and taught me personally in so many ways, it is truly a dream come true to have a space where we can all share in the wonderful gift of yoga."
Owners Mindy Piland and Colleen McGovern Gustavson welcome everyone who attends the grand opening celebration to enjoy a one hour complimentary yoga class, which will follow the event, from 6 and 7 p.m.
