26th Annual Classic Car Show This Saturday

About 200 vehicles are expected to be on display in downtown Leesburg.

At least 200 classic cars and hot rods will head to historic downtown Leesburg this weekend for the  and Cruise-In.

Muscle cars, dragsters and other vehicles made before 1984 will be at the event, which runs Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. 

“We always try to have some novelty vehicles and performance vehicles on display,” said event organizer Bob Brown. There is even the possibility that a replica of the Ghostbusters vehicle will be available for viewing.

“If that shows up we’ll have it right in the center of town.”

The event will take place on King and Market streets, so road closures are scheduled. The event is free and open to the public, however donations are welcome.

Brown said that money raised will benefit the  auto collision repair course and their graphic arts department. , about $9,000 was raised, he said.
