Update: Closures, Cancellations Due to Predicted Storm

All town and county offices will be closed on Monday, including bus services. Schools will remain closed on Tuesday.

Due to Hurricane Sandy, all Leesburg town offices will remain closed on Monday and Tuesday, including Loudoun County government offices, the voter registration office and two satellite locations at the Dulles South Multipurpose Center and the Cascades Senior Center. All commuter bus services have also been cancelled.

Town of Leesburg offices, including Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and Thomas Balch Library, will be closed on Tuesday as well as all public schools.

The Loudoun County Circuit Court and the Clerk of the Circuit Court offices will also be closed.

All airlines serving Reagan National and Dulles International Airports have canceled operations until further notice. Airports will remain open throughout this significant weather event.

The Leesburg Police Department, located at 65 Plaza St NE, will remain open 24/7 should citizens require storm-related assistance. For assistance, please call the Police non-emergency number at 703-771-4500. Calls to 911 should be reserved for life-threatening emergencies only.
